*Corrections LPN *Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patientsResponsibilities:- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse- Assist with diagnostic procedures, including sonography and suture removal- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation- Adhere to infection control protocols and occupational health standards- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical attention when necessaryExperience:- Minimum of 1 years of experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse- Proficiency in administering injections and performing basic medical procedures- Knowledge of occupational health practices and emergency response protocolsRequirements:- Valid LPN license in West Virginia or compact LPN license- Current CPR certification- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment*Duration:* 13 weeks*Shift: *7am-11pm, 2 doubles (Saturdays and Sundays only)*Pay:*$48/hr (taxed + nontaxed)$1,536 weekly gross based on 32 hoursWe offer competitive pay rates, comprehensive benefits packages, and opportunities for professional growth within our organization.
