This position focuses on providing specialized speech therapy services to patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or illnesses, with the goal of helping them regain their communication skills and swallowing functions. The ideal candidate will tailor rehabilitation treatments to individual patient needs, ensuring a return to independence and enhancing quality of life. Assess patient speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders Plan and administer tailored treatment strategies Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary Educate patients and families about communication strategies and swallowing safety techniques Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care Maintain accurate patient records and prepare progress reports Stay updated with the latest advancements in speech therapy Expertise in speech and swallowing disorders Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Proficiency in patient assessment and treatment planning Strong organizational and documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
