Seeking applicants for 1stand 2nd8-hour shifts. Participate in the following important activities:Description:TheFood Manufacturing Production Associateare in direct contact with the final product that is Bellisio s acclaim forbeautiful foods. Associates ensure recipe and brand specification in partnership with skilled machine operators and product line co-workers. Associates are assigned in many areas of Bellisio s plant operations. The critical focus of the Food Manufacturing Production Associate is on the preparation, cooking, and packaging of consumable raw ingredients for a frozen finished product. The Associate s work responsibilities may vary based on assigned department, crew, and/or product lines.Responsibilities:Loading and off-loading manufacturing machines.Use a pallet jack to transport and record precious raw ingredients and other materials including food and trash waste and weight to and from designated areas.Learn and apply expert knowledge for compliance with:S. FDA Good Manufacturing Principles (GMPs).Bellisio Safety Standards including wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and posted signs and plant rulesOSHA Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) equipment standardIndustry SQF Food Safety Code for ManufacturingRelieve for break, rotation and/or reassignment of fellow coworkersEnsure area is clean and free of debris or hazards i.e., general housekeeping.Serve as back-up for operator when needed.Report unsafe acts, conditions, and/or injuries.Report observations of any adverse food safety and food quality conditions.Complete light administrative compliance paperwork.Other duties may be assigned by supervision, quality, or safety team members.Physical requirements:Able to stand 8-10 hours per dayAble to bend or lift 8-10 hours per dayAble to lift 25 to 35 pounds repetitivelyAble to lift 50 to 75 pounds repetitively (Prep areas specifically)Able to do repetitive wrist motions/demonstrate good range of motion in wristsAble to wear rubberized personal protective equipmentCertified PIV, powered lift, scissor lift operation may be required.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentBellisio Foods is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
