Job Description:

Calling all bookkeepers! Manpower is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to maintain financial records at a local manufacturing warehouse. These records include purchases, payroll, sales, receipts, tax returns, and payments. This is a high level position, temp-to-permanent, with a competitive salary and good benefits offered. Want long weekends? This company's schedule is full time Monday through Thursday - so you get 3 day weekends every week! Responsibilities

• Recording daily financial transactions, checking account records for accuracy, updating general ledger, and preparing trial balances for perusal by management.
• Maintain and file requisite documents for taxation compliance.
• Monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist managers in making strategic decisions.
• Run payroll, generate purchase orders, and audit invoices.
• Backup customer service duties by generating sales orders.
• Light typing and filing.
• Maintaining a system for organizing company documents. Qualifications and Skills
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Competence in accounting systems: Great Plains experience preferred, QuickBooks experience also accepted
  • Attention to detail
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Data Entry Skills
  • Organized
  • Honest
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive documents
