Job Description:
Job Description The Department of Nursing, DNP Program invites
applications for a nine month tenure-track position starting in the
Fall of 2024 at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank.
Candidates must hold a DNP degree with national board certification
as a Family Nurse Practitioner ( FNP ). Candidates should have
evidence of expertise in clinical practice, evidence of excellence
in didactic and clinical teaching at the graduate level, and a
record of scholarship. The position will not require any
administrative duties. Responsibilities for this position include:
Cross-cultural communication skills, with multicultural sensitivity
and experience interacting effectively with diverse students,
faculty, and staff desired. Lead in scholarship, education, and
service Responsible for the accreditation process of the DNP
program. Work with full and part time faculty. Curricular
development, revision, and evaluation. Active engagement in student
recruitment, admission, and progression Seek external funding for
programmatic enhancements. Establish partnership for future the
mission of the program. Lead evaluation of program and students’
outcomes. Teach, advise, and chair doctoral projects in the
graduate program. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the
program.
