Job Description:
Job Description Summary The Marshall University Center of
Excellence for Recovery Graduate Assistant will assist in
supporting the project activities of the Violence Against Women and
Substance Use Prevention Initiative. The GA will report directly to
the Project Director of the West Virginia Behavioral Health
Workforce and Health Equity Training Center ( TTC ), the project
evaluator, and the director of the Center of Excellence for
Recovery. TTC provides the National Center on Domestic Violence,
Trauma, and Mental Health with technical support for on-demand
training for medical, substance use disorder, mental health, and
domestic violence providers. Job duties: Respond to trainee phone
calls and emails regarding training opportunities. Assist in the
development of marketing materials/social media for the project.
Assist in developing monthly reports to state partners. Collaborate
with Project Director to manage virtual event coordination,
including meeting facilitation and technical assistance during
training. Assist in the coordination and delivery of continuing
education unit certifications for trainees. Support the evaluation
team in developing monthly reports that outline training activities
and outcomes to state and national partners. Support training
coordination and development through research in best/emerging best
practices. Assist in all other duties as assigned pertaining to the
project.
