Job descriptionClinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and/or Licensed Independent Clinical Social WorkerThis position requires extensive knowledge and understanding of mental illness and its effects. This requires the ability to apply counseling and psychotherapeutic techniques to persons affected by mental illness and a thorough knowledge of community resources and the ability to relate positively to the family of the consumer and community resources in an attempt to assist the consumer to maintain or improve their level of function.Ability to routinely manage complex patients.Ability to evaluate clients and make clinical judgments based on information gathered during sessions.Ability to accurately diagnose/strong familiarity with DSM-V diagnostic.Training and experience with empirically supported psychotherapy and other therapeutic interventions based on patient needs and goals of care.Ability to routinely provide patient and family education and training.Ability to complete required patient care documentation and communication in a timely manner and in accordance with professional standards.Willingness to and experience in collaboration with other agencies as needed to deliver coordinated care (schools, doctors, psychiatrists, etc).Desire to be part of a growing service team that is dedicated to offering a holistic approach to treatment.A Ph.D. or PsyD degree from an APA accredited program is preferred. We will consider doctoral-level candidates from a non-APA program, as well licensed Master's level clinicians (LICSW, MFT, LPC, etc) who can demonstrate appropriate clinical experience and training. * A postdoctoral experience would be considered for those qualified. We will consider unlicensed candidates who need to fulfill their postdoctoral hours. Ability to be licensed in the state of West Virginia (potentially Ohio and Kentucky). Generalist training with experience in a broad range of mental health concerns. Experience with brief interventions/consultations with other providers is preferred. Training in psychological/psychologist assessment with adults is preferred. Testing may include some children and teens.Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
