Job Description:

Start Date: June 30th, 2025 Shift Details: 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts Schedule: 7am until cases are completed for the day. (As cases are completed and the operating rooms running that day decrease, physicians are released incrementally throughout the day when assigned call physicians can safely manage the surgical schedule.) Call Coverage Details: Work Details:

• Support staff: Other Anes MD s and CRNA s
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 4 FTE s
• Patients per day:
• Patient population/age: all ages
• Department description: General (Level 1 trauma center), Memorial Hospital (Level 1 trauma center), Women s and Children s Hospital (Level 1 trauma center)
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital bed size: 845 beds, Memorial Hospital 120 beds, Women s and Children s - 48 beds in its pediatric inpatient unit, a 32-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 6-bed Level I Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and a 4-bed Intermediate Care Unit.
• Special procedures: Full spectrum of surgical procedures. The only transplant procedures performed are Kidney. (No liver, heart, etc.)
• Skills required: Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Requirements:
  • Board Certification: required
  • State license required: required
  • DEA: required
  • Certifications preferred:
  • Certifications required: ABA, ACLS, BLS, National Board of Echocardiography Special Competence in Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography
    • Minimum experience required: Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
