Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours (20:00 - 06:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: WV or Compact License (Pending License Acceptable) Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of RN experience - Competency in drips and medications - Travel experience preferred - Flu vaccine required with medical exemptions only Description: The role involves providing care in a Medical Surgical setting. Orientation occurs every Monday with a 16-hour training requirement. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6. Candidates must submit medical exemption documentation for the flu vaccine if applicable. Certification in BLS and ACLS must be obtained from the American Heart Association. Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility for eligibility. Modules must be completed prior to start and are included in the non-billable training. Failure to submit insufficient documentation will result in a postponed start date. All certification details should be included with the application.
