Job Description Gastroenterology Opening in Portsmouth, OhioLocated 30 miles from Ashland, KY; 90 miles from Columbus, OH and 100 miles from Cincinnati, OHPosition Details: - Full-time, permanent position - 465-bed medical center is offering outstanding opportunities for board eligible/certified gastroenterologists. - $700K Guaranteed plus productivity and quality/customer incentives - We also provide excellent benefits, paid malpractice, and a flexible work schedule that includes 7 weeks off and manageable call. - The collegial practice features 7 gastroenterologists, supported by a team of experienced advanced providers. - The health system serves a growing patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. With a vast network of primary care providers, and referrals from 20 area hospitals, our gastroenterologists enjoy a vibrant practice. Other program highlights: - GI physicians perform colonoscopy, EGD, EUS and ERCP (diagnostic and interventional), endoscopic resection, balloon enteroscopy, esophageal ablation and capsule endoscopy. - Two opportunities: the Kentucky position features manageable call (1:7), while the Ohio position has an option for NO call. - Surging referrals have advanced the construction of a new stand-alone endoscopy facility on our Kentucky campus. - EPIC electronic medical records system. - Safe, family-friendly community with great schools, affordable living and excellent local shopping and dining.
