Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical
Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift:
12 Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year in specialty
experience required License: WV or Compact RN License required

Must-Have: Every other weekend availability required Experience
with post cardiac catheterization and angiogram preferred
Proficiency in required drips such as heparin, cardizem,
amiodarone, dobutamine, dopamine, and nitroglycerin Description:
The position requires a registered nurse for a medical-surgical and
telemetry unit. Shifts are scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM, including
weekends. Patient ratios are typically 1:5, with possibilities of
increasing to 1:6 or 1:7 when necessary. The unit specializes in
both inpatient and observation care, managing a diverse adult and
geriatric patient population. Clinical skills such as
cardioversion, TEE, thoracentesis, bone marrow biopsy, chest tube
insertion, central line insertion, and paracentesis are preferred
but not mandatory. Successfully handling acute cardiac conditions
such as myocardial infarction, unstable angina, congestive heart
failure, and arrhythmias is essential. Registered nurses should
have experience with post procedural care following cardiac
catheterizations and angioplasties. Applicants must demonstrate
working proficiency in administering required medications and
managing drips. Candidates are expected to communicate RTO
restrictions during the interview process. All healthcare personnel
are required to receive the flu vaccine unless a documented medical
exemption is provided. This role may include floating to other
