qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Charleston, West Virginia, 25302!
Pay Information $2,075 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post-Anesthesia
Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8
hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years total RN
experience 1 year PACU RN experience required (must have Pediatric
PACU experience) First-time travelers accepted if experience
requirement is met License: Must have West Virginia or Compact RN
License Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS Must-Have: Experience in
Pediatrics Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The shift is 5 days a week for 8 hours
each day. Candidates must have at least 2 years of RN experience. A
minimum of 1 year of PACU experience is required, specifically with
pediatric patients. Orientation is scheduled every other week on
Thursday. Ratios are 1:1 with pediatric patients and 2:1 with adult
patients. The average daily census is 26 with 7 rooms and 7 beds.
There is a weekend on-call requirement, rotating every 36 hours,
with one weekend per month. No floating is required, and a blocked
schedule approval is dependent on staffing. Candidates must comply
with flu vaccine requirements unless there is documented medical
proof of an allergy. The Covid vaccine is not required. Candidates
must present a completed application with all required
documentation by the designated deadline. All certifications must
be verified and meet the standards required for this specialty.
Previous probationary actions on a license will be considered on a
case-by-case basis. Current employees within the specified health
system are not eligible for travel contracts within 2 years of
