Job Description:
Exciting Opportunity for Neonatologist in Charleston, WV! Join a
dedicated NICU team of 4 Neonatologists and 3 Neonatal Nurse
Practitioners at a premier women and children s hospital in
beautiful Charleston, West Virginia. Be part of a level-IV, 30-bed
NICU with a great opportunity to make a significant impact on the
health of newborns and their families. Job Responsibilities:
Provide 24/7 in-house coverage in a Level-IV NICU with an average
daily census of 24. Attend approximately 3,000 annual births with
around 470 NICU and 1,226 newborn nursery admissions. Ensure
support for NNPs during 12-hour shifts primarily in the newborn
nursery. Participate in delivery attendance as required. Engage in
teaching medical students and residents from the WVU School of
Medicine. Access consultative services from pediatric
sub-specialists across more than 30 specialties. Cover nearby
Level-II NICU as needed. Embrace opportunities for professional
growth, including the potential to become a Clinical Associate

Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatology.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a busy Level-III/IV NICU
preferred. High level of collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
License and Certification Requirements: Valid West Virginia medical
license (or willingness to obtain). DEA registration (must be
obtained prior to start). Copy of the most recent NPDB Report
(within 30 to 60 days active). Charleston, West Virginia, is known
