Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Charleston, WV Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,121 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/19/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical/Oncology RN – West Virginia Start Date: February 19, 2026 Location: Charleston, West Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 3p-11p OR 11a-11p (to be discussed in interview); weekdays with every other weekend; 36 or 48 hour contract options available Highlights: 29-bed unit serving adult medical and surgical patients battling cancer, plus palliative care, urology, and telemetry patients Patient ratios: 4-5:1 on days, 5-6:1 on nights Facility will consider strong candidates without oncology experience Cerner charting system in a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests with 36 hours guaranteed Chemotherapy administration experience preferred but not mandatory Requirements: Active West Virginia or Compact RN License (pending license acceptable at time of submission) Minimum 2 years RN experience required BLS certification required; ONS/ONCC certification required Telemetry, central line draws, port management, blood administration, PCA pump experience Experience with bone marrow aspiration assist and Pleurx chest tubes Cerner charting system experience required Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 - March 31) unless medical exemption documented Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case) Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references within the past 2 years Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of oncology patients and their families while working in a supportive teaching hospital environment.
