Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/15/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Position: Step-Down / Telemetry RN – 5 North Shift: Night | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Unit Details: 20-bed, all-private room unit Mix of pulmonary (pneumonia, COPD, BiPAP/CPAP), cardiac (AFib, HF), neuro (stroke), GI bleed, and stable post-surgical patients Step-down patients may require critical drips: Amiodarone, Esmolol, Insulin, Lasix, Cardizem, Nitroglycerin Nurse-to-patient ratio: 4:1 preferred, 5:1 depending on staffing Experience Required: Minimum 1 year med-surg/telemetry or step-down experience Certifications Required: BLS ACLS NIHSS Shift Info: Night 3x12-Hour | 19:00 – 07:00 About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
