Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Parkersburg, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,106 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab required License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 1 year of Cath Lab experience required. Prior travel experience is highly preferred. Description: This position involves working in the Cath Lab. The unit features 3 rooms with 3 teams, consisting of 2 radiology technicians and 2 RN staff for each team. On average, the team performs 13 cases per day. RNs are responsible for sedation, circulating, and placing IVs if needed. The role includes circulating and sedating patients and addressing all patient needs during procedures. Radiology technicians will scrub and assist the physician. Documentation in the electronic medical record system (EPIC) is required pre and post-procedure. Call coverage is 24/7, with interventional cardiology services on-call after hours. The shift schedule includes 8-hour days, with call starting in the evening until the following morning. Weekend and holiday coverage will be part of the on-call responsibilities. Shifts may stagger from 0700 to 1730. Unit-specific orientation is planned for new hires. The dress code includes provided scrub attire; shoes must be provided by the staff. This position requires flexibility for call duties and the ability to respond within a specified time frame.
