Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – West Virginia
Start Date: March 19, 2026 Location: West Virginia Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12-hour night
shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; every other weekend required; 36 or
48-hour contract options available Highlights: Emergency department
setting with 5 primary beds plus 2 endoscopy beds Patient ratio of
1:4; care for diverse patient populations across all age groups
Cerner EMR system; 16 hours of orientation provided Orientation
held every other Thursday; flexible scheduling with option to
submit blocked time-off requests 36 hours guaranteed per week with
contract flexibility Diagnostic services include EKG, respiratory
monitoring, nuclear medicine, radiology, suturing, and splint
application Requirements: Active West Virginia or Compact RN
license (pending license acceptable for submission) Minimum 2 years
of RN experience; 1 year in-specialty (Emergency Room) experience
required Current BLS, ACLS certifications (American Heart
Association); PALS and TNCC preferred CPI certification required
(can be completed through approved vendor) Flu vaccination required
(medical exemptions only with documented proof from physician or
allergist) Strong skills in continuous IV sedation, procedural
sedation administration and monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation
and management, triage, and care of ventilated patients Minimum of
2 manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years
Must reside more than 100 miles from facility location (75-99 miles
may be considered on a case-by-case basis) Clean, active nursing
