Job Opportunity – Emergency Room RN – West Virginia Start Date:
March 19, 2026 Location: Hurricane, West Virginia Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12-hour night
shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 36 hours guaranteed; every other weekend
required Highlights: Emergency department with 5 beds plus 2
endoscopy beds serving a 70-bed acute care facility Patient ratio
of 1:4 across all shifts; daily census of approximately 50 visits
Diagnostic services include electrocardiography, respiratory
monitoring, nuclear medicine, radiology, suturing, and splint
application Charting system: Cerner with Omnicell and Accudose
medication systems 16 hours of orientation; biweekly start dates on
Thursdays Flexibility to accommodate blocked schedule requests
based on unit needs Requirements: Active West Virginia or Compact
RN license (pending license acceptable for submission) Minimum 2
years RN experience with at least 1 year in emergency or specialty
care Previous travel nursing experience required BLS and ACLS
certifications (American Heart Association); PALS and CPI required;
TNCC preferred Core skills: continuous IV sedation, procedural
sedation administration and monitoring, interpretation and
management of dysrhythmias, triage, and care of ventilated patients
Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs Minimum 2
manager or charge nurse references within the past 2 years Flu
vaccination required during flu season (October 1 – March 31)
unless medical exemption provided; COVID-19 vaccination not
required Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (75-99
miles considered on a case-by-case basis) Why It's a Great
