Must-Have: Every other weekend required First-timers accepted No
call requirement Description: This position is for a registered
nurse in a rehabilitation setting. The unit has 24 beds focusing on
various patient diagnoses including cerebrovascular disease,
traumatic brain injury, amputees, spinal cord injuries, and severe
deconditioning. Each patient has an assigned care team consisting
of a physiatrist, nurse practitioner, therapist, and social worker.
The team collaborates to create and implement a comprehensive care
plan for the patient. Patients receive therapy for three hours a
day, Monday through Friday. The length of stay is typically around
two weeks. The nurse will be expected to float within the scope to
meet facility needs when required. Open to accommodating block
schedule requests. A minimum of 36 or 48 hours per week options can
be discussed with management. Patient diagnoses may include spinal
cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, amputation, and
neuromuscular disorders. The nurse will provide care including, but
not limited to, management of cardiac conditions, blood glucose
monitoring, feeding tube care, and wound care. The unit is
supported by an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy
and respiratory services. Candidates must have a permanent address
greater than 100 miles from the facility to submit. All required
documentation must be complete and submitted prior to the start
