X-Ray Tech Location: South Charleston, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,661 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days with rotating weekends Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: OR experience Description: The department has three x-ray rooms, six C-arms, and one O-arm. The technologist will rotate in all diagnostic areas to develop technical skills, including fluoroscopy, mobiles, routine, operating room, endoscopy, and orthopedics. Common imaging studies performed include diagnostic x-rays, fluoro, and OR cases. Technologists will average a variable number of scans due to walk-in x-rays and OR cases. The department utilizes EPIC and Fuji Synapse PACS for electronic medical records. Equipment includes Del Medical, OEC, O-arm, and Siemens (R&F). There is a lead tech/supervisor overseeing the team. The department operates 24/7 with no call requirements. Weekend shifts are scheduled as evening shifts from 3 PM to 11:30 PM. Scrubs must be black, and staff will need to provide their own. The cancellation policy allows for two shifts per 13-week assignment and one shift for assignments less than 13 weeks.
