Radiology Tech Location: South Charleston, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,397 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Diagnostic Radiology Tech Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Shifts Hours per Shift: 8 or 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have: - Must have Operating Room experience - Minimum of 1 year of experience Description: This position involves working in Diagnostic Radiology. The department is equipped with 3 x-ray rooms, 6 C-arms, and 1 O-arm. Radiologic Technologists will rotate in all diagnostic areas for skill development, including Fluoroscopy, Mobiles, Routine X-rays, Operating Room, Endoscopy, and Orthopedics. Common imaging studies include Diagnostic X-rays, Fluoroscopy, and Operating Room cases using C-arms and O-arms. The average number of scans or studies performed daily varies due to walk-in X-rays and Operating Room cases. The department uses EPIC and Fuji Synapse PACS for imaging management. Notable equipment includes Del Medical, OEC, O-arm, and Siemens (R&F). No Registered Radiology Assistants are utilized in this department. There are Radiologists available in-house for support. Starting IVs is not a requirement for this position. Self-scheduling is not permitted; shifts include 5, 8-hour day shifts rotating weekends, with weekends being evening shifts from 3 PM to 11:30 PM. There is no call requirement, as the department is staffed 24/7. Weekend shifts will also follow the evening schedule. There is no holiday call requirement, as the department remains staffed year-round. Scrubs are required but not provided; black scrubs are the standard. The cancellation policy allows for 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or extension, and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks. The department is classified as an acute care setting.
