Job Description Job Title: Psychiatrist (Part-Time) Location: Lucasville, OH 45699 Duration: 12 Months to Long-Term Schedule: 07:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 20 Hours/Week Summary: Searching for a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide on-site services on a part-time basis (16-20 hours/week) to the male incarcerated population. Schedule is flexible based on needs of facility, but core hours are typically between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Selected psychiatrist will meet with 12-16 patients per 8-hour shift. Caseload is 75-100 patients. Assignment could lead to permanent hire. Job Responsibilities: Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing Managing medication Making referrals for specialized care or treatment Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, Client policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed Required Qualifications: Ohio Medical License. Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification.
