Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Our RNs play a crucial role in delivering exceptional, integrated healthcare services by focusing on rehabilitation and comprehensive inpatient and home-based care. This position requires a compassionate individual dedicated to assisting in the recovery and improvement of our patients. As a RN at Encompass Health, you will utilize your skills in a supportive environment that values work-life balance and career development. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals. Administer medications, monitor patient recovery and progress, and educate patients and their families on post-hospital care. Maintain accurate patient records and prepare reports on patients' status. Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care. Follow all hospital protocols and policies to uphold standards of care. Provide emotional support to patients and their families. Proven ability to operate medical equipment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
