Job Description:
Encompass Health is searching for a dedicated and
patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. We
provide comprehensive rehabilitation services and are committed to
fostering recovery in a compassionate and supportive environment.
As a Physical Therapist at Encompass Health, you will play a
crucial role in helping patients regain functionality and mobility,
as tailored to their individual needs. This position affords the
opportunity to work both in an inpatient setting and with
home-based care, aligning with our mission of ensuring patient
comfort and recovery. Assess patient condition by examining muscle
and joint movement, motor function, and accessibility of home
environments. Design and implement detailed plans of care tailored
to patient needs, goals, and environments. Utilize specialized
equipment and exercises to facilitate patient health and recovery.
Document patient care and progress, modifying treatment plans as
needed. Educate patients and families about home treatment
strategies and exercises. Collaborate with other healthcare
professionals to plan and deliver effective, comprehensive
rehabilitation services. Strong understanding of biomechanics,
kinesiology, and rehabilitation Ability to handle physical activity
such as moving and assisting patients Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Proficiency in creating and executing
individualized patient care plans Compassion and patience in
dealing with challenging recovery journeys Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state Physical Therapy
license American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
