Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing exemplary patient care, with a focus on rehabilitation services. Our Physical Therapists play a pivotal role in assisting patients to regain strength, improve mobility, and achieve their highest level of independence through personalized treatment plans. In this role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to design and implement rehabilitation strategies tailored to each patient’s needs, guided by our commitment to comprehensive, compassionate care. Assess patient condition by examining muscle and joint function, mobility, and potential for rehabilitation. Develop treatment plans by identifying goals and appropriate interventions. Implement physical therapy interventions, assess the effect on patient’s health, and adjust as needed. Document patient care services and update records and case notes. Maintain patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and continued strategies for home care. Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care. Knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices. Ability to develop and execute targeted rehabilitation plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent patient management and interpersonal communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist license in the practicing state. CPR and BLS certification preferred.
