Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts • 13-week assignment duration • 1 year of nursing experience required • First-time travelers welcome • BLS certification required • West Virginia or Compact nursing license required • Dress code: Black scrubs (can also wear Cabell T-shirt instead of scrub top) • Must change into surgery scrubs when reporting to surgery (scrubs provided) • Chart using Cerner system • Complete lab work within 72 hours of signing contract • Complete non-billable modules during orientation and annually (average 4-6 hours) • Local candidates within 50 miles of facility not accepted • Free parking available in parking lot and parking garage Facility: This healthcare facility is a 330-bed short-term acute care major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH).
