Radiology Job Details Location: Charleston, WV (25301) – Explore downtown Charleston, beautiful parks, and a friendly healthcare environment Setting: Onsite, hospital-based Radiology Department Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel contract) Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour days) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $14,580 - $15,620 per week Start Date: ASAP Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, with potential extension Radiology Physician Qualifications Board Certification in Radiology (required) Active West Virginia medical license (required) DEA Registration (required) Clean malpractice history (required) Minimum 1 year of post-residency experience in diagnostic radiology Proficiency in infant barium enema (BE) exams Radiology Physician Responsibilities Interpret and report on a high volume of diagnostic imaging studies (90-100 cases per 8-hour shift; 60-70 wRVUs) Utilize multiple imaging modalities: X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine Perform light interventional radiology procedures, including: Biopsies (thyroid, lung, liver, renal; CT and ultrasound guided) Drainages (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess, chest tube, cysts) Diagnostic lumbar punctures Arthrograms and joint injections (knee, elbow, hip, ankle, shoulder) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Apply now to join our healthcare team and explore exciting radiology physician jobs in Charleston, West Virginia!
