Respiratory Therapy Technician Location: Huntington, WV Agency: Health Advocates Network Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position Health Advocates Network is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to work at a Facility in Huntington, WV . These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate: $52 / hour Job Responsibilities: Assess patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary problems Administer oxygen therapy and breathing treatments Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment Perform breathing tests (pulmonary function tests) Suction airways and manage artificial airways Respond to emergency situations (code blue, CPR support) Educate patients on inhalers and breathing exercises Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as ordered Document care and update medical records Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff Minimum Qualifications: At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Respiratory Therapist Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy. Current West Virginia State license for Respiratory Therapy. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification. Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
