• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days
• Orientation: On-site orientation required before starting call

• Board certified Physician with cardiothoracic surgery experience
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant cardiovascular surgery or thoracic surgery experience preferred
• Fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with general cardiovascular and thoracic surgery cases
• Experience with coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), including on-pump procedures
• Experience with valvular repair and cardiac surgery
• Experience with lung resection, including VATS
• Ability to manage acute volume status and blood pressure issues
• Experience placing central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters

• Provide call coverage for cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Perform rounding and patient management as needed
• Evaluate and manage post-operative and acute cardiothoracic cases
• Support coronary artery bypass and valvular repair procedures
• Assist with lung resection cases and related thoracic surgical care
• Place and manage central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Arrive early for orientation and be prepared to begin call coverage promptly
