The Department of Academics at Merritt Hawkins has partnered with the Department of Surgery at a well-regarded Midwest University system for this very important recruitment.-- We are seeking applications and nominations for a Critical Care Surgeon for this Level II Trauma Center.-- Some additional highlights:--

• Dynamic two (2) hospital system, representing over 660-beds and over 120,000 annual Emergency Department visits
• ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center - mix of blunt and penetrating trauma
• Total of 36 Surgical ICU beds as well as a 6-bed burn unit
• Strong faculty of more than 25 surgeons representing multiple areas of focus
• Well-regarded ACGME accredited residency program with 24 residents
• Potential for leadership of surgical ICU--
