Company Description Shawnee Animal Clinic is a growing, family-oriented practice with wonderful clients. We currently have eight doctors of veterinary medicine and over sixty support staff between our hospital, grooming facility, and boarding and training facility. Our team is like our family, and we are looking for individuals who are self-starters, have a willingness to learn, and can multi-task in a fast-paced veterinary hospital. Our hours of operation are: Monday - Friday: 8AM - 7PM Saturday: 8AM - 2PM We are closed on Sundays Check us out at -! Job Description Join a supportive -team -in a high-end, modern -environment. Grooming assistants are instrumental in helping our groomers perform -top -quality grooms in a timely manner. Job duties may include but not limited to: Bathing all the grooming pets Drying and brushing out pets coats Cleaning ears Disinfecting all the cages and bathing room Sweeping and cleaning the grooming area Assisting the groomer which can include -holding wiggly pets, -returning the pets to the owner after their grooming session, and more Keeping the lobby clean, swept, and mopped throughout the day Keeping -laundry washed and folded.
