Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/24/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry position on a 3rd Floor M/S-Telemetry unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele experience and an active WV or compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - 13-week contract at an acute care hospital in Beckley, WV - Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit on the 3rd Floor - Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM - Rotating schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week, per pay period (no block scheduling) - Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, though ratios may fluctuate with census and call-ins - Uses Meditech EMR - Orientation is conducted bi-weekly - Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted - Travel pairs (two travelers placed together on the same unit) are generally not permitted /n /n Requirements/n - Active WV or compact RN license required - Current certifications required: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), and NIH Stroke Scale - Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Telemetry experience required - 2 professional references required for consideration - Valid Driver's License required for consideration - Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-675060.
