Mammography Tech Location: South Charleston, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,181 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Mobile Mammography Technologist Profession: Mammography Technologist Specialty: Mobile Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, ARRT, Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have: 3 years of experience in mammography Description: The position involves working with a mobile mammography unit. The clinician will be responsible for performing screening mammograms. The average driving distance for daily assignments will range from 30 to over 100 miles. Clinicians may need to stay overnight based on travel distance. If overnight stays are necessary, the shift will end when the bus stops for the night. Clinicians will drive a chase car to the hotel after parking the bus. A total of 20 scans/studies are performed on average per day. Patients do not self-schedule for the mobile unit. Department uses EPIC and FUJI Synapse PACS for documentation. The unit is equipped with Hologic Selenia dimensions imaging equipment. There is no requirement to start IVs or float to other areas. No Radiology Assistants are utilized, and a Radiologist is available in-house. Weekend and holiday work is not required for this position.
