Job Description

The Operations Analystis responsible for assisting with the logistical aspects of Strike and Rapid Response Events. This role will drive the execution of the scope, definition, planning, analysis, measurement and communication regarding best practices for logistics as it relates to Strike and Rapid Response Events. The Operations Analyst will assist leaders with recommendations to determine appropriate vendors, program design changes and best practices. while providing a high performance, results-focused culture emphasizing quality, exceptional client/ candidate service, productivity, compliance standards, goal attainment, empowerment, and the ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Job Tasks:

  • Responsible for sourcing, establishing and maintaining relationships with hotels and continually monitor to identify how to book, change and cancel travel.

  • Responsible for the booking and tracking of all travel as it relates to Strike and Rapid Response events.

  • Create parameter sheets for each event and communicate with the travel agency to ensure bookings are complete and to coordinate staff coverage with travel agency to ensure travel is booked in a timely manner, especially during peak booking times.

  • Monitor reporting to and from travel agency into and out of V2 to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting. Source solutions to fix any problems that may arise and notify all necessary parties.

  • Collaborate with accounting on a weekly and monthly basis regarding folios and flight itineraries to ensure billing has everything they need for proper invoicing.

  • Maintain files for each event to include travel and housing for each CLN or TOA.

  • Collaborate with recruiting team and account manager to ensure contract parameters and metrics are met and not exceeded.

  • Create and monitor financial exposure on corporate account cards and accounts to ensure accuracy of charges and that events are within established limits.

  • Monitor requests for changes and drops during the face paced strike notice period. Process and track all changes and drop while maintaining accurate records for each event.

  • Determine and create the return flight parameters and CLN instructions for all events.

  • Monitor and follow up on any logistics requests outside the set parameters, seeking approval where needed in order to fulfill orders and needs.

  • Provide excellent customer service to CLNs, TOA and with internal and external partners.

Internal Customers & Partners

  • Leads cross-functional project teams in implementing, maintaining, upgrading, enhancing and developing customer focused solutions to support workforce solutions.

  • Identifies process improvement opportunities, managing implementation teams and developing strong working relationship with internal business partners to ensure successful project execution.


  • Makes recommendations for new procedures to continuously improve the process and results.

  • Implements and maintains high standards of quality control.

  • Attends and participates in end user, client and departmental meetings as required.

  • Assists leadership in researching best practices to implement creative and cost-effective solutions.

  • Maintains a broad knowledge of the HSG and AMN department policies and activities in order to address problems, respond to inquiries, and perform special projects requiring in-depth HSG and industry knowledge.

  • Develops monitoring tools to measure success/ failure of various project initiatives, identifying root causes and taking corrective action as needed to ensure projects achieve stated goals.

Education, Certifications & Experience

Minimum Education:

  • High school diploma

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Minimum Experience:

  • 12+ months administrative experience in the service industry and/or recruiting experience

Preferred experience:

  • 5 years in an administrative or staffing role
