This position is responsible for supporting, planning, and
coordinating organizational activities for the Addiction Science
Division's grants including programmatic and fiscal management,
assisting with policy formulation, management of daily operations,
and resource stewardship consistent with business objectives. The
candidate may oversee or assist in procurement, human resources,
communications, finance, general operations, and/or office support.
Requires creativity, and interpretive abilities to effectively
resolve complex problems. Work effort has significant impact on
budget and operations, producing major organizational, legal and
financial results, and/or liability.

ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES:

3.3 Uses time sheet to record time correctly for each pay
period.
WORK ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
4.1 Provide technical assistance and support at the request of
internal project leads
4.2 Review project proposals in compliance with grant terms and
requirements
4.3 Be responsible for fiscal management of the grant and project
activities in accordance to the statement of work, budget, and
requirements as indicated by internal and external agencies
4.4 Provide technical support for project contacts to answer
questions and resolve issues that arise 4.5 Compile and review
projects reports for submission of monthly reports due internally
and to external agencies
4.6 Ability to draft grant documents including statement of work,
budgets, work plans and implementation plans
4.7 Ability to facilitate meetings, plan, and coordinate events
4.8 Establish rapport and relationships with internal and external
partners to support the division grants
4.9 Routine collaboration and interaction with the principal
investigator and the grant(s) program director, as well as relevant
counterparts is required
4.10 This position will support and coordinate operational
function(s) under the guidance of the principal investigator and
program directors guidance
4.11 The incumbent will typically perform the duties of this
position within a general office environment, although travel up to
10% of the time, as well as telecommuting as determined by
administration in response to COVID-19, will be required.
4.12 Sitting for long periods, standing, and some lifting may be
necessary.
4.13 Operates various types of office equipment & machinery.
4.14 Activities will require manual skill to provide and/or alter
services and/or products.
