Your Responsibilities: Reporting to the Evening Supervisor, the Machine Operator will be responsible for: Preparing packaging materials for filling.Performing basic packaging inspection to eliminate product contamination.Operating filling equipment, connect/disconnect hoses, labeling, filling and packaging finished product into small bottles to large totes/bins, properly putting packaged goods on pallets. Following procedures and filling out packaging paperwork as requiredThe job requires safe and efficient use of a fork truck to move pallets of material between buildings / locations, stack pallets of packaging containers, run stretch wrapper, etc. Inside and outside cleanup of buildings and equipment will be also part of this position. Training will also include preparing orders for shipping, loading/ offloading trailers, sweeping out trucks, ensuring correct paperwork and records are maintained and communicated on packaging orders being filled and shipments being loaded as well as on containers materials/raw materials loaded or unloaded. Qualifications we are looking for:At least a high school education or equivalent2+ years of manufacturing experienceMust be able to lift minimum of 55 lbsForklift, warehouse and pallet jack experience a plusSafety consciousMust be able to work on your feet for up to 8 hoursMust be able to climb stairsAchievement focused - enjoys taking on new challengesAbility to work well with others on a task, team-oriented - cooperative and collaborativeMust be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays if necessary.
