Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
Fills in as needed in the department.
Functions as one of the department's primary contacts with patients.

x High school diploma or equivalent --- Preferred x Required - -Minimum Education
Completion of a Phlebotomy course or equivalent training/experience or National Healthcareer Association Phlebotomy certification preferred - -Required Skills
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days - -Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. - -Required Skills
