We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Location: Onsite at Coal Grove, OH (Address:--225 Carlton Davidson Ln Room 1 Coal Grove, OH 45638)
Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  
• Works with the Pharmacist to asset in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
  
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  
• Other duties as assigned
  
• This is a Part-Time role for 12 hours per week at Coal Grove, OH site; there is potential for hours to increase to 16 hours per week as you may be required to float to Portsmouth, OH site when needed
  
• This role will be 75% making deliveries for the pharmacy and 25% pharmacy technician work - will be required to use your own vehicle for deliveries and will be reimbursed for mileage
  
• This role is onsite in Coal Grove, OH (Address: 225 Carlton Davidson Ln Room 1 Coal Grove, OH 45638)
  
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (4 hours per day)
  
  • Monday and Wednesday = 11am - 3pm; Friday = 10am - 2pm

    • High School Diploma/GED or higher
      
    • Active and unrestricted Licensed Pharmacy Technician, Certified Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee in the state of Ohio
      
    • Must have a valid US driver's license and be able to use your own vehicle for making deliveries (will be 75% of the role and will be reimbursed for mileage)
      
    • Must be able to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday (4 hours per day) at Coal Grove, OH site
      
    • Must be able to potentially float to Portsmouth, OH site if needed
      Preferred Qualifications:
      
      • Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience--
