Job Description Job Title: Part-Time Psychiatrist Location: Lucasville, OH 45699 Shift: Flexible schedule; core hours typically between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hours/Week: 16–20 hours per week (Part-Time) Duration: Minimum 12 months; potential for extension or permanent hire Position Overview We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Psychiatrist to provide part-time on-site behavioral health services. The provider will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medication, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient mental health needs. Caseload includes approximately 75–100 patients, with 12–16 patient encounters per 8-hour shift. Key Responsibilities • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, mental health exams, and diagnostic assessments. • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as clinically appropriate. • Manage and prescribe psychiatric medications. • Document all patient encounters and clinical decisions using an electronic health record system. • Provide referrals for specialized care when necessary. • Collaborate with internal and external healthcare teams to support patient treatment plans. • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, including peer reviews. • Maintain practice in accordance with professional standards, policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. • Engage in collaborative agreements, when required. Required Qualifications • Board-eligible or board-certified Psychiatrist. • Active Ohio medical license. • Healthcare-professional level CPR certification. • DEA certification. • Doctoral degree in medicine (MD or DO).
