hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage. About the
Facility Location Huntington is the second-largest city in West
Virginia with plenty of fun activities for you to enjoy while on
assignment! Visit the Harris Riverfront Park to relax and unwind by
the river or visit Pullman Square for some shopping! About the
Clinician's Workday This opportunity is at a Level II trauma center
with a daily team of four physicians and eighteen CRNAs. The
practice follows a medical direction model with a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio,
and CRNAs work with a high level of autonomy while maintaining a
strong, collaborative relationship with the physicians. Case types
include regional, trauma, and general bread and butter cases, with
no transplants, OB, or pediatric cases. Call is pager-based for
both MDs and CRNAs, with two layers of pager call and no post-call
day off; however, call-backs are rare, and providers are typically
home once finished for the night. Available shift options include
8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, and the facility uses Cerner for EMR.
Credentialing takes approximately 90 days. Additional Job Details
